Governor Mike Rounds has declared a State of Emergency throughout South Dakota. Rounds made the announcement at the Emergency Operation Center in Pierre.

A blizzard warning is in effect through Friday for much of eastern KELOLAND. A good portion of Interstates 90 and 29 were closed Thursday because of the poor visibility and road conditions.
