Three South Dakota men are beginning work on a documentary film project about the fallen and wounded South Dakota soldiers in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. 

Independent filmmaker and photographer Bill Goehring, along with KELOLAND Political Bloggers Pat Powers and Todd Epp, will be producing the film for South Dakota Public Broadcasting. 

The three producers have three different views about the war on terrorism. Todd Epp says, “What we share, however, is a belief that the stories and memories and sacrifices of these South Dakota servicemen and women should be honored and never forgotten.” 

They hope to let the servicemen and women, families, and friends tell their stories of heroism, loss, heartache, victory, and duty.
