Authorities say the man accused in a Huron homicide has a history of violence.
Twenty-four-year-old Edwin Thompson is charged with 2nd degree murder in the death of 21-year-old Ryan Treadway. Thompson made his first court appearance Tuesday morning.
It apparently started with a fight outside the Bradfield Leary Center on Sunday night. When authorities arrived, they discovered Treadway on the ground surrounded by a pool of blood.
Prosecutors still aren't saying whether a weapon was involved or how the two men knew each other. But in court, they did mention that Thompson has been in trouble for assault in North Dakota. He's being held without bond.
