A U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service agent whom Gov. Mike Rounds publicly criticized for allegedly harassing hunters has moved to a new state.
Bob Prieksat is the regional agent in charge of South Dakota, North Dakota and Nebraska. Prieksat now is based in Omaha, Nebraska, in a move that was effective September 28. A spokesman for the Fish and Wildlife Service said the move was at Prieksat's request.
In 2006, Rounds sought Prieksat's removal from his South Dakota post after hearing reports of altercations with hunters. Prieksat refused comment.
