Well, we were able to salvage a pretty decent fall weekend across the area. We had some clouds and in some areas some light precipitation and of course today was a little cool and breezy but it wasn’t terrible. Into the week the forecast has changed quite drastically. I am pushing the chances of precipitation this week from the beginning and middle of the week to the middle and end of the week. This means we will have a stretch of about 3-4 dry days in a row across parts of KELOLAND and a few of them will be very breezy which should dry things out a little for farmers across the state. The system that will eventually work in may pack quite a punch for Thursday and Friday in the east and Wednesday thru Friday in central and western KELOLAND. The western part of the state could potentially end up with some pretty significant snow. Of course this system is still several days away, but it will bear watching.
For the short term both Monday and Tuesday look dry and warm, with near normal temperatures and sunshine.
If you get any pictures or videos of any interesting weather that you would like us to share with KELOLAND, feel free to pass them along. Even if they are posted on Facebook, Flickr or any other site, just send us the link! Or email them directly to stormcenter@keloland.com.
Have a great evening!
