We have a dry start to the forecast today…which is the best news we can give you. Highs will be in the 50s with plenty of sunshine. Tomorrow will also be mild, but the wind will increase from the south at 15-25 mph…with higher gust in the afternoon across eastern KELOLAND. A shower could also develop in the west late tomorrow…but more rain is likely Wednesday in western SD. Look for more precipitation Thursday and Friday…with most of it staying rain east river…but snow is possible across the west. The track of the storm will play a major role in how much snow we will see in the west…so we’ll keep an eye on that.

Rainfall totals from this late week system could prove significant. In fact…amounts over 1 inch are likely across parts of the upper Midwest…and that will add further moisture to already water-logged fields. It appears the weather will turn colder and windy for the weekend with highs in the 40s.
