The sun was shining from border to border and it helped temperatures warm to the 50s today. We’ll try to do the same for tomorrow, but winds will be a little stronger and clouds will be thicker in western South Dakota. The thicker clouds will bring just a slight chance at a shower for the west, but the rest of KELOLAND will stay dry. Highs tomorrow might actually get above average with numbers approaching 60 degrees in southeast to central South Dakota.
The warmer weather will not last as two storm systems will move through the upper plains. One system is from the southwest and the other from the northwest. As these two systems converge over the upper plains, widespread rain will be possible in KELOLAND starting on Wednesday and lasting through Friday. Some areas in eastern KELOLAND will get an inch or more of rain with temperatures once again falling below average.
As of now, the weekend is looking dry and cool for the trick or treaters.
