October is ending with another round of rain and snow. But despite the forecast, it isn't time to be thinking about winter quite yet.

A strong autumn storm will bring heavy rain and snow to KELOLAND Thursday and Friday. Following this system will be another bout of below average air, but that doesn't mean it's time to get the winter gear out for good just yet.
Once the weekend is over, a pattern change will welcome November. The jet stream will move north allowing for a zonal flow, which means we could see seasonal or above average temperatures and slight chance for rain.

The real change will come at the end of next week and will last into the second week of the month. We're now getting indications of much warmer air, with a strong ridge to help boost temperatures well above average.

By the looks of it, the first couple weeks of November might allow us to get things done outdoors before winter hits for good.
